How Delivery Methods Work
There are three primary delivery methods used across reputable services:
- Player-to-player trade — The seller meets your character in-game and trades directly. The safest method for most games.
- Auction house / market flipping — The seller lists items for you to buy at a prearranged price. Undetectable, slightly slower.
- Drop / pick delivery — Used in games like Path of Exile where items are dropped and picked up. Fast but requires trust.
What "Safe Trading" Actually Means
A safe trade is one where the delivery method matches the game's intended trading system — no account sharing, no third-party software required, no exploits. Any service that asks for your account credentials to deliver currency is not safe.
Red Flags to Avoid
- No written delivery guarantee or refund policy
- Payment via gift cards, cryptocurrency only (no card processor)
- No customer support contact or only a Discord DM
- Prices dramatically below market — usually means stolen currency
- Requires your login credentials for "account-sharing" delivery
